The CMR-X5-E0804 hybrid video recorder (HVR) is a rugged multifunctional Mobile Rated Digital Video Recorder specifically designed for the harshest mobile environments. It utilizes a highspeed processor and proven stability of a Linux embedded operating system, combined with the most advanced H.264 video compression / decompression technology available.

Video is stored on removable 2.5” SATA Mobile Rated Hard Drive with available 2TB storage capacity. The CMR-X5-E0804 features a separate removable SD card that provides event/mirror recording to ensure valuable video isn’t lost.

Several video recording formats are available to choose from: 1080P, 720P, WD1, WHD1, WCIF, D1, HD1 and CIF along with the unique capability to record three different types of video camera technologies simultaneously. Eight channels of either standard high-resolution analog or Analog High Definition (AHD), supporting 1080p HD resolution (mix or match) or the option of adding four “Totally Digital” IP camera (1080p).

The CMR-X5-E0804 also provides recorded GPS travel information (mapping), vehicle sensor inputs (brakes, turn-signals, warning lights, etc.) along with optional wireless video downloading. Even the option for “live-viewing” capabilities! It has a powerful modular design, flexible installation, easy maintenance and is highly reliable.
