Our PoN(Power-over-Network) SMART-Switch integrates power and data over a single cable providing an easier installation fot IP cameras. Unlike standard PoE Switches using RJ45 connectors, our PoN Switch uses a custom 6-pin DIN connector when using Costar Mobile IP cameras. Simply connect any network cable between the switch and the IP camera (or any IP device) and the switch will automatically detect the settings of the device and adjust itself accordingly. It will detect a system power overload and disable the PoN function of power priority PoN ports to maintain the power to higher priority PoN ports. The cost-effective PoN SMART-Switch provides an ideal solution to most kinds of local area network congestion problems.
